Luck being equal, many regard hard work and determination as the logical road to success. Understandably, part of that kind of luck may be related to being wealthy and being attractive. More often than not, a good fortune and a good look can make success happen more dramatically.
To begin with, there are times when success can be bought, in some cases being independent of hard work and determination. If nothing else, money alone can purchase influence which leads to success simply because people move around money. In other words, money is being used to pave the way for the lucky people with deep pockets to go where they wish to be, or rather where success is. Practically, money talks, and everything needs money to get the job done more quickly and successfully. So, it is very probable that those who have a lot of money stand better chances of getting that kind of success which is common in today's capitalist environment. In search of success, being rich is better than being poor, if only for financial reasons.
That said, for people to become more successful, it is difficult to deny the role of appearance. Beauty pays, and this applies to women and men alike In almost any society wherein good external appearances are valued, even admired, although it has often being heard that "you cannot judge a book by its cover". Some might cinically say that a person's external look should not matter, but in real world, it does. As an example, researches reveal that fat people are less successful since obesity usually does not please the eyes of the public. Believe it or not, the same studies also indicate that usually taller persons make it easier to stand out among the crowd in their careers than their shorter peers.
In conclusion, money and appearance are important elements of which success is made. It is lucky for anyone to be wealthy and attractive, taking it for granted that hard work and determination remain constant factors associated with success. For most people, however, the road to success seems to be always under construction; and for that matter, money as well as appearance can make people's goals so much more accessible.
