扬州十日的历史故事
1645年（南明弘光元年，清朝顺治二年）发生在清军攻破扬州城后对城中平民进行大屠杀的事件。由于当时南明将领史可法对清军的殊死抵抗，在阴历四月二十五日，清军攻占扬州后，在扬州城内进行了屠杀。当时的幸存者王秀楚所着《扬州十日记》中记载屠杀共持续十日，故名“扬州十日”。
