Good friendship serves many occasions, including a pleasure trip to run away from home. An enjoyable vacation is best measured in good company than good meal or good destiny. When it comes to having a good time in holiday spirit, nothing can beat travelling with close friends, considering that you decide to take a vacation not because you are hungry for delicious dishes anxiously nor because you need to visit a particular place urgently.
Whatever menu provided, vacations should be spent with friends (or family) in the first place. On a vacation, eating with good friends is full of fun, independent of what kind of food available. In this case, the enjoyment is about the chances of joking all the way rather than digesting well. Besides, you ought not to forget that one important purpose of taking a break is for recreation, which can benefit you and your friends better and which has nothing to do with food, good or otherwise. Like it or not, the period of holidays is the golden time for you to go on a diet seriously. In short, good food is not essential to an enjoyable vacation.
When you take a vacation with good friends, it is usually the journey, not the arrival at the destination, that matters. It may be said that such trip without worrying about location is more relaxing. Normally, to really enjoy a vacation at any corner on the planet, travelling alone without friends (or family) is certainly not an option. For instance, you would not regard Robinson Crusoe's ordeal as 'enjoyable', would you? Accordingly, you should choose good company, even though good location also contributes to an enjoyable vacation in a different way. Indeed, travelling with good friends, you would find that vacation is more like a state of mind than a place on the map.
Ultimately, speaking of an enjoyable vacation, neither good food nor good location matters as much as good friends to travel with. Remember, you are on vacation with close friends for the fun of it. So, if you reject the food and avoid the place, you might better stay at home.
