《雾都孤儿》是狄更斯于1838年出版的写实小说,是他的第一部重要 的社会问题小说。这部小说以雾都伦敦为背景,讲述一个孤儿悲惨的身世及遭遇:主人公奥利佛是个孤儿,从小在济贫院长大,不知父母是谁。他在济贫院中受了九年的折磨后被送到一个承办丧事的店里当学徒,在那里受到虐待。他忍无可忍,独自逃往伦敦,不幸刚到便被骗误入贼窟,这是一个专事盗窃抢劫的团伙,为首的是老犹太人费金,除了少数头目外,都是些被引入邪路的少年儿童。费金一伙用威胁、利诱、灌输等手段,要把奥利佛变成他们的作案工具。奥利佛历尽无数辛酸,几经波折,最终被他父亲生前的朋友从贼窟中救出,找到了亲人,得到了遗产,过上了幸福的生活。

最近突然想看些名著,然后和同学在新华书店里搜索。于是很快就被这个系列的吸引了。
不得不说,像上海译文这个版本这样,出的如此朴素典雅简洁干净,就是对名著最好的诠释与衬托了。毕竟名著本身就是最大的卖点,根本不需要像现在的流行书籍一样,用华丽的封面来吸引读者的目光。
于是一口气在卓越买了几本。
很多人说到了字小的问题,我也觉得正文的字体稍微偏小了一点。但是还不至于严重影响到阅读(虽然对我这个近视眼来说并不是什么好事。。),不过里面的纸张稍微偏黄,对眼睛还是有好处的。
虽然不是硬皮封面,但是这样的风格,还是很适合收藏的。而且这次选用的都是几个著名译者的版本,基本上是国内公认最好的几个译本了。
总之,很不错。

印刷比较好,就是字太小,近视的和老年朋友就不要买这个版本的。

包装什么的都很好,纸墨什么的也都不错

总体不错就是页纸有点薄,

没有评论里说的那样不堪(起码我收到的书是这样的)这样的价格能收到字迹清晰无损坏的书我很满意,至于有些评论声称的拼写错误可能是对早期现代英语的用法的误解。同时给物流点赞,隔天送到了。

在亚马逊上买了很多次书,觉得都还不错,虽然价格可能是贵了点,但是质量还是行的。
这是我第一次对亚马逊的书失望,我网购基本不会给差评,除非商品真的是差到不行了。送货速度很快,但是书的质量真的是不敢恭维。
书的纸质很差,烂到掉渣。纸渣和纸屑到处都是,我怎么擦都擦不完,封面的颜色是枣红色的,并不是原图上的深蓝色。这和原图不符合这点我就不说了,但是纸质这么差,真的怀疑是盗版印刷的。我还打算借给学生看的,这么烂的纸张,根本借不出去。想要联系客服问问是怎么回事,发现我根本不知道客服如何联系。
最后,建议还没买的亲不要购买,你会像我一样失望的。还是去别的店看看吧。

以前一直觉得世图不错,SAT和AP备考都是用的世图,怎么这一套这么差?像是盗版一样,纸质又脆又黄,书脊的胶用的也不好,都快裂了,而且装帧完全是仿造凤凰出版社名著的那一套。内容倒是还行,但是这套书每一本的字体都不一样,有的还捆绑销售,比如了不起的盖茨比后面还有夜色温柔,小妇人后面还有续集等等。再者,有的书脊外写着“英国小说卷”,试问狄更斯的作品不是英国小说吗?!是的话怎么他的小说一个都没有标注?!还有啊,这套书里有些纸质简直就是复印纸,白花花的根本就是坏眼睛!!而且每一本我买到的都像是积压货,上面都有磨痕,配送不注意保护,连气囊都没有!真不知道世图怎么会这么没良心的出这一套书!!简直就是盗版!!如果有能力的童鞋还是买原版吧,signet classics 和 bantam classics都比这好,但是要是图便宜的话,那就当我白说吧。。。

初学者,看得有些费劲,祝我好运吧,比较而言,很便宜了

字太小了,小家子气,也不为读者的阅读体验多考虑考虑。
