He was born on September 12th, 1980. He was born in Shanghai. He liked playing basketball when he was young. He is very tall. Yao Ming is 226 cm in height. His favorite subject is P.E. His favorite color is blue. He likes hot dogs very much. His mother and father are both basketball players.

In the year 2000 Yao joined the All-Star team of Asia. In 2002, show of number one scholar identity is NBA Houston rockets selected. In July 20, 2011, Yao Ming officially announced he retired.

As we all know, Yao is a super star in NBA. He is famous in America not only for his amazing height, but also for his perfect skills in basketball. Although he is very popular throughout the world, he has never forgotten his country . He’s the hero in my heart.

众所周知，姚明是NBA中的超级明星。他在美国著名不仅因为他的身高，还有他篮球方面完美的球技。尽管他世界著名，但是他从来没有忘记他的祖国。他是我心中的英雄！

He is a symbol of China's basketball. He is the pride of China. So I think he is the best basketball player. I like him very much.
