  Essay:

Traveling the world may seem glamorous when viewing from travel Websites, but it is worthwhile asking for first-hand tips from someone who happens to have visited the the two destinations that you have in mind. Those tips can help you decide which one of the two places to be the destination for your upcoming trip. While reading online is a great way to understand what advertising outlets are saying about the two destination options, only a seasoned traveler can tell you why the one is better than the other, and how to make your trip more enjoyable there.

Nobody will underestimate the power of the Internet when it comes to researching vacation destinations, including the two places in question. Nowadays, the Web has transformed the way many people choose their holiday destinations with tools like Google Maps, YouTube and Facebook, along with easily searching for images and reviews online. Referring again to your two destinations, probably both places may equally catch your eye, but the problem is that you need to choose one of them. In this case, how do you know which of the two is better for you? So you may discuss with a trusted friend or a co-worker, who shares your same interests, tastes, and priorities, to help you decide which destination can not only catch your eye but also your heart. That kind of advice, which can contribute to a smooth trip with minimal post-trip trip, is nowhere to be found on the Websites.

As a result of a veteran traveler’s advice, now you can make your choice of travel destination, knowing that this choice is better than that choice. In addition, you may as well ask for more recommendations on food, transportation, and activities, the like of which usually do not appear on the Webpages. For example, how do you know what is the cutest, walkable neighborhood to stay in? Should you buy a bus pass or rent a car? When there is a bar on every corner, how do you know where the best cocktail is? Besides, you do not want to unknowingly eat at a over-priced restaurant when there is an equally delicious spot off the beaten path. Neither do you want to miss out a must-see attraction because you are unaware that it is closed on Sunday or Monday.

These things are not clearly given in details when you are reading online. That said, visiting any place of your choice is full of challenges, but a good piece of advice from someone who knows the place will benefit you greatly.

In conclusion, between the two options, the better choice must be based on someone’s real experience rather than simply on reading online. Travel tips can help your trip begin well and end well. So, when in doubt, it pays to discuss with someone in the know.
