After skimming and leafing through the entire book, especially upon perusing and reading in-depth the afterwords and some notes written by the translator himself, I am deeply impressed and moved by his broadness and depth in understanding Chinese traditional culture and civilization in general and history and evolution of Three Kingdoms in particular, with which even a current Chinese cannot fail to compare. His seriousnes and sceintific spirits embodied in his lengthy yet interesting analysis revealed that he had been wholely immersed in this masterpiece of world literature. Again, really fas"rest":"cinating a book, both as original Chinese and translated English version."

送人的，看着厚厚的三卷下了一跳。不过还不错。

装帧很有1994年应该有的味道，纸张也是那个年代的。。。名字的拼音还好不是神奇的威妥玛，能看懂。还行吧，古典名著就应有历史感。。。

非常好的书，全英文版的三国演义，强烈推荐。

有两个版本，这个是英译本里最好的了！

孩子特别喜欢三国，英语阅读没兴趣，所以买来培养阅读兴趣的。结果孩子说跟原著相差很大，读了一点就搁置了！

这个书是和其他几本名著的英文版一志放在酒店销售的，三国演义是最先补货的，说明最受外国客人的欢迎。好书！

书比想象的要厚，感觉很有中国历史名著的FEEL。还没看，不知道内容是否和原著一样精彩。
